The Heart Behind BIG IMPACT
Khyri Goodwin
Founder, BIG IMPACT Outreach Ministries
My name is Khyri Goodwin, and I am the Founder of BIG IMPACT Outreach Ministries. As a single mother, I know what it feels like to be in need. I believe that we all need help in some way or another. Sometimes the greatest gift we can give someone is simply showing them that they are not alone.
In 2015, God laid it on my heart to start this ministry. Although I began serving in a way that was fulfilling to me, I felt led to revamp the vision and expand what this ministry could mean for our community.
When I speak about wealth, I am not talking about money. I am talking about a wealth of knowledge, compassion, understanding, and love. I want this ministry to be about more than giving someone something they need. I want us to build a wealth within our communities that cannot be measured by money.
A wealth of knowledge that empowers people. A wealth of compassion that reminds us to care for one another. A wealth of understanding that allows us to see beyond someone's circumstances. And a wealth of love that reflects what it truly means to love God's people.
BIG IMPACT Outreach Ministries is about putting faith into action. It is about serving without judgment, giving with love, and reminding people that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.
People may tell you NO. They may tell you that you cannot do something or that your vision is too big. But when God places something on your heart, you have to be willing to walk in faith. I believe this ministry is God-approved, and I am trusting Him to lead every step of the way.
My prayer is that BIG IMPACT Outreach Ministries will inspire people to recognize that we all have something valuable to give. It may not be money or material possessions. It may be knowledge, encouragement, time, compassion, or simply showing someone love.
Because true wealth is not just what we have. It is what we share with others.
